***Please note you can join our Lindy Hop beginner class any week - you don't have to wait until the start of a block. You can also Join our Collegiate Shag class as a new beginner any first three classes of a block.***
What day & time is it on?
Classes are every Thursday at Garnethill Multicultural Centre from 7:15pm
- 7:15pm Beginner Lindy Hop - drop in to any class, no partner or experience required. If you are new, don't miss the basic footwork at 7:15pm sharp as you will need it in order to do the rest of the class!
- 8:15pm Social Dancing
- 9pm Collegiate Shag - mixed level but beginners are welcome to join any first 3 classes of a block.
How much does it cost?
- 1 class per night - £5
- 2 classes per night - £8
- Social - £1, or free if you do at least one of the classes
- 10 Class passes available for £40 (or £35 with student ID).
Do I need to book or bring a partner?
No need to bring a partner or to make a booking. We rotate partners constantly throughout the class and you can pay cash on the night.
Do I need to bring anything?
- Wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in and flat, supportive shoes that won't come off your feet easily.
- Bring your own water bottle.
- Bring friends or come yourself.

Our weekly venue is Garnethill Multicultural Centre near the GFT cinema.
